Adding Firewall Rules

Firewall Rules is a network security system/feature that determines what traffic your firewall allows to access your service. This article will show you how to add firewall rules.

1. Locate the target deployment

Log in to the Control Panel and locate your target deployment on the Home page or the My Applications page.

2. Go to the Security page

Go to the Security page by clicking the "Manage" button on the Home page or the My Applications page.

3. Add firewall rules

When you first land on this page, you will see that the feature is disabled. At the time, all connections to your instance is allowed.

  1. Click the button to add a firewall rule.

  2. Input a IP that you would like to allow to connect to the instance.

  3. Click Create to save the settings.

Now you've created a firewall rule successfully.

4. Delete firewall rules

If you would like to delete a rule, please click the trash icon at the end of the settings.
