Browsers on my VPS often fail to connect to the Internet. Why?

This usually happens when your VPS IP is temporarily blocked by our firewall. If the server makes too many outbound connections in a short time, the firewall may blacklist the IP. Remote Desktop will still work, but web browsers may not access the Internet until the IP is removed from the blacklist. To resolve this, we will remove your IP from the blacklist and add it to the firewall whitelist to prevent future occurrences. If the issue persists, please contact support.

If the bandwidth says 100 Mbps, how many GB can I use per month?

Our servers provide unlimited total bandwidth. The “100 Mbps” refers to the connection speed, not a monthly data limit. For example, the Advanced Linux VPS plan offers a 500 Mbps bandwidth speed.

My Linux VPS was just set up, and resource usage is already over 50% even though I haven’t started using it. Why?

For High CPU Usage: The system is performing initial updates and configurations, which usually take 2–4 hours. CPU usage will return to normal afterward. For High Memory Usage: VPS memory is dynamically managed based on real-time usage. The displayed memory usage reflects the portion currently allocated. For example, if your VPS has 8GB of memory, 4GB may be allocated initially, with more memory assigned automatically as needed. The usage percentage shown corresponds to allocated memory, not total memory purchased.

Why isn’t my server faster after a bandwidth upgrade?

The server’s bandwidth specifies the maximum available speed. Actual speed depends on factors such as: Current load in the rack and shared bandwidth with other servers; Your local network conditions; Geographical distance between you and the server.
